In our reading group we used fun words from the story and tried to make them look like they sound.

Maths - Capacity, Mass, Volume

This term we are looking at Capacity, Mass and Volume in maths. Last week we thought about what the words meant and collected magazine pictures representing each one, to make collages.

After finding the pictures we sorted them and discussed why they showed capacity, mass or volume. We found that some pictures could be placed in more than one pile, for example a jar of food could show capacity and mass.




We have displayed them as a classification chart on the wall.
