Junki chooses a Fang Fairy book.

The book I chose is "Fang Fairy" because it is a cool cartoon and it looks fun .
The cover shows 2 scared boys and a creepy house and the characters are Zilla, Jeremy Kreep and Nessy Thurman.

Eden chooses a computer.

The book I chose was "Finding and Sorting Information". I chose that book because it helps you learn to do art on the computer. It is a non-fiction book, Dewey Decimal Number 620.

Andy's book choice.

The book I choose was "Avoid working on the Great Wall of China" because I like Chinese soldiers in Ancient China. I found out that making the Great Wall of China was a hard and forced job. I learned that there were more than one million guard soldiers and one general called Meng T'ien .

Isabella read this book.

My book was called "The Forest".

The reason I chose it was because I really like science on the beautiful trees. I really enjoyed learning facts. The most interesting facts were about the maple sugar and the flowers.

The book I chose was "I want Earrings".

I chose this book because I thought it was going to be a long story with lots to read.

I also thought it would be a fun book and it was.

The book I chose was "Star Wars Luke Skywalker's Amazing Story".
I chose that book because it shows characters I know in Star Wars.
I really enjoyed reading the book.

The book I chose was "Little Blue Penguins".
I chose it because I thought about my brother because he likes penguins.
My brother really enjoyed the book I chose for him. He giggled heaps of times.

Last week's book.

I am Steven. The book I chose is "Artemis Fowl" by Eoin Colfer and I like this book because it is awesome and cool. It is set out as a graphic novel with dark drawings in it.

Knight Fight

I am Ofa. I'm in Room 19. I like the "Knight Fight" book.
When I opened it, there were two cool knights jousting.
There were cool horses and the place was dusty.
I could read most of the book's words myself.

Maths - Reflection

Last week we were looking at reflection. Mr Karaitiana gave us a piece of paper that we had to fold in half. We then chose 2 or 3 shapes and drew a pattern. We gave this to a buddy and they opened the page and drew the shape as a reflection. When they were finished the pictures looked like flowers.
